The Cowboy and The Teacher

Rachael and Robin were both ready for a relationship, and realized a bar was not the venue through which they’d find what they were looking for. Located in rural East Texas, they each decided a little assistance from FarmersOnly was just what they needed.

Rachael opened her account on a Saturday afternoon, and that evening she received a message from Robin. They wasted no time, and met up for their first date on Monday for Mexican food and margaritas. She says it was an instant connection. If you ask Robin, he’ll tell you it was love at first sight!

For their third date Rachael got to see Robin do team roping. Watching him in his element struck something in her, and when he kissed her for the first time that evening she knew he was the one. She had finally found her cowboy!

In less than two weeks, they were “in love and inseparable.” Less than a month after meeting, they were engaged and planning their life together.

Ten months later, on a sunny June day, Rachael and Robin held their wedding on a friend’s ranch, under a Texas star. They said “I do” surrounded by family and friends, with chickens and horses roaming in the background. The “fellas” wore hats and boots, and while the ladies had boots as well, Rachael donned a special turquoise pair.

Rachael feels blessed to have married into a family with 11 grandbabies! She says that they spend a lot of time at various sporting events for the grandkids, and on the weekends they let loose with a lot of two-stepping.

As Rachael says, it’s “the cowboy and the teacher, happily ever after.”
