Meet Carl and Ellen... a whirlwind romance

Ellen sent us a note about their love story.

I thought Carl's black and white photo stood out, but his smile was what caught my eye. He joined February 28, we texted on March 2, and our first lunch was on March 4. We had two dates and I got scared. It hit me so hard, like never before. I told him I needed a break and cried for two days. I texted him back saying I was sorry for being scared and that if he's willing to try again, I'm ready! We've been together every day since then. He proposed April 14, and we married April 17. Yes! This year! That fast! It's like our bond is so strong, it hurts when we're apart. Our "wedding" is next April, 2018, we will renew our vows in front of our families. He lives in north Scottsdale and I'm in south Chandler. Our paths never would have crossed if it wasn't for FarmersOnly. I haven't been so happy in years.

What did you do on your first date?We went to lunch at an Irish pub - The Thirty Lion.

When did you know when he was the one?Halfway through our first date, I was so comfortable with him, my first thought was "I don't want him to leave, I want to snuggle in his arms..." that's when I knew.

What is your favorite thing about him?He treats me so kind and is always checking on me, making sure I'm okay. He treats me like a princess, and I love that he loves me so much.
