. We got a great one from Alyssa a few weeks ago and we're so excited to share it with you.I was lucky enough to meet my now husband, on FarmersOnly. I'm far from being a farmer but came from a small country town. I know the value of Southern guys after dating so many "metro" guys! I am a doctor and ended up moving back to my small town. My best friend and I decided to each pick a dating site for one month and see how it goes. She picked Match.com and I picked FarmersOnly.com, which she teased me about. The last week of my month membership, Shane messaged me. We both thought the other looked familiar but knew we had never met. Once we exchanged last names we realized I grew up with his younger brother but had never met him! He too was on his last week of his month membership. We met for a date one week later... and have been together every night since. Two years later, and a beautiful wedding, I am the proud wife of my handsome Southern man!! I have never been happier and thought for sure my man was not in this little country town! Boy was I wrong! Thank you FarmersOnly!What towns/states are y'all from?We are both from Dade City, Florida.What did you do on your first date?Our first date he took me to a lovely quiet restaurant so we could talk and really get to know one another. He brought me the biggest bouquet of flowers, and we sat and talked for hours, like no one else existed in the restaurant.When did you know that he was the one?About a week into seeing one another everyday and talking on the phone when we weren't together, we both told the other that this may sound insane, it may be 6-7 days after meeting, and I hope this doesn't scare you; BUT you and I are meant for one another! Lol. Thank God we both felt the exact same way so soon.
What is your favorite thing about him?Goodness, it is so hard to pick just ONE thing I love about Shane. I guess I would say that one of the main things I love about him is that I now have a feeling of absolute joy and fullness that I've never felt before. His love for me, and how he shows it everyday is an absolute blessing for my heart and my soul.Congratulations on your love Alyssa and Shane! We wish you all the best in the future!
