“In March of 2018 I was looking for a serious relationship, I wasn’t looking to date just to have a fling, I wanted to be done looking and was looking for marriage. I also wanted someone with the same interests as me, who loved to work with horses and cattle as much as I did, then I met my now husband, Wrangler, a few days after setting up my FarmersOnly account and just shy of 10 months after met we got married December 21st! He’s everything I’ve ever wanted, and loves to work with horses and cattle as much as I do! What’s crazy to think is how we were just 4 miles from not meeting with both of our locations set on 300 miles. Thanks FarmersOnly!” - Jacki
What did you do on your first date? For our first date we went to the movies, then drove an extra 15 miles up to the Canadian Border and he told me to get out of the vehicle, (it was March 29th in North Dakota so very cold haha!) He then proceeded to roll down the windows and play the song "Keeper of the Stars" and we danced in the headlights under the stars and it will be a moment I will forever cherish and hold dear to my heart.
When did you know that he was the one?I knew he was the one 4 days after we viewed each others profiles and started talking. We were both open and vulnerable with each other and I never would have imagined someone I could trust and open up to the way I was able to and felt with Wrangler.
How did he propose? Were you surprised? The proposal was a complete surprise, I knew he was the one, I just didn't know when he was actually going to ask. From June until October I was in Missouri for Basic Training and AIT. The beginning of October I had a 4 day weekend and he got a hold of some buddies of mine to come down, they worked the whole thing out with me not having a clue, he drove 16 hours overnight and walked up behind me where I was sitting at a park and asked me to be his wife!! It was a surreal moment!!
What is your favorite thing about each other?I can't say I have a favorite thing about Wrangler, he's always up to surprises which I like, and he's the most loving, caring and understanding person I've ever met. I love everything about him inside and out. As for his favorite thing about me, it's probably my personality or my smile. He is currently at Basic himself so I can't even answer that for sure.
Tell us more about your wedding! Our Wedding was December 21st in North Dakota, it was a rustic/western wedding. It was cold as usual for winter time but our family, friends and loved ones who shared our day with us made it warm and it will be a day I will never forget. There was a lot of laughter and jokes to go around and there was dancing and people breaking out of their shells and having a good time. We wanted to make sure Christ was the main focus of our wedding ceremony and reception and you can definitely tell He was. It was overall a wonderful day!
